    NGC PF69 S$5 kookaburra, check out my set! I have Pics for almost all!
     
    Sorry to everyone who read the previous two, my tablet is new and I have not figured it out yet, along with working a double and just making it home!
     
    Also FINALLY UPGRADING my account so I can submit coins, WOOT , MORE KOOKABURRAS TO BE SENT IN TODAY! 2000/2001/2002/2003/2004/2005/2006/2007, all have been examined by 2 NGC PEOPLE whom both said they have a great chance of MS70s but atleast a MS69 ( Any 69s will be resold and id try And find 70s or wait till I finally found them).It all began in 2009 when my son decided to buy a Ms70. He didnt know what he was getting himself into, it didnt take long for him to realize, he got on right away to maake his set! I remember him screaming within 2 minutes, mostly in Joyce and some being scared (happy about all the different lovely kookaburras but scared because of the very very low POPS (capricorn has only 6 graded coins 68/69 and I believe only 1 70, 2 if im lucky and can find one at a semi decent price!He was amazed when he got the coin and went to make a registry set And seen the varieties.     Today I just got this beautiful rarity For my 1990-date kookaburra set. Let me just start off by saying this 1990 PF69 is AMAZING! This 1990 PF69 is 1 of 3 pop, so it was a sure add to my set the moment I seen it, especially at the killer price I got it for. This set is currently being completed as the rest being MS/PF70!
    Check out this beautiful coin!!
    Not bad for first year of kookaburras, where they had big problems with dies.

    I am Also waiting For my Skinny Chickens STILL( I Do Wish everyone the Best Whom Were affected by The Tornadoes And Extreme Weather Conditions), I went through the trouble (like many others) sitting on hold/Being Disconnected/busy Signals to finally place my order about 3 hours after sale time to still have my order in process and Was SUPPOSE to ship Febuary 7th(THe SAME DAY the Tornadoe and Extreme Weather hit!!! Oh No!!!). So Hopefully I will get the shipping confirmation Soon enough so I can send those off to get graded as well!!

    Concerning The Tornadoes and the Us Mints Warehouse!
    So I Finally have been fed up with the month wait on my Skinny Chickens. I got through to a supervisor after arguing with about 2 customers reps about the status of my order and many lies about them being shipped and not being shipped. I had gotten through to the Supervisor whom finally Admitted that the MANY of there coins in the Warehouse Were damaged and some were even swept away from the building and unaccounted for!!!!!!!
    So everything everyone has been talking about has been true, she stated that the damaged coins were melted down and used to make the new coins, they cannot account for how much inventory was actually lost in the tornado!!! My Jaws just hitting the floor, I mean wow tornado damaged Skinny Chickens!!!
    This is amazing, I mean what is gonna come of this??? And Where are the Coins from the warehouse??
    She Stated that Many coins Were swept away by this vicious Tornado, But They didn't know exactly How much!!!
    So did anyone actually report finding skinny chickens around the Mint warehouse???? I think a search may be in order???
     
    So how Many coins are actually damaged from the warehouse?? How many Coins Where actually Lost??? Is the mintage still gonna be the same, Since they cannot actually account for what was lost and what was damaged???
    I'm amazed that the Mint wouldn't release any information on this matter, But you could see why they would cover it up!! When your Brand new Skinny chicken comes back a PF60 I think we Know Why!!

    Can't Really emphasize The probable Tornado Damage, Or maybe Just the multi Holder Graders???
    Some of you might have known I was having some problems receiving my order from the mint( They Stated the order was so large they had troubles rounding everything I ordered to ship out, So it kept pushing it back!!! 10 Supervisors later finally got the ball rolling and the order shipped!). We finally got our order and shipped out, Both orderes were received Friday Febuary 29th. The first order of 13 coins went scheduled for grading the tuesday than into Quality control Wednesday!     Everything was Great I couldn't Be Any Happier, Besides I had also Ordered a 3 Coin Set( OF COURSE!), heres where my original order through the mint was being held up(They couldnt locate a 3 coin set to ship in my order, finally found out because more than we know were scattered around the Facility, Cities, And Nearby Streets!!! Yet this should have nothing to do with that because they mealted down all the coins accounted for and reminted new ones!
    To add onto it, the 3 coin set sat in received Until March 24th Until It was Finally "Scheduled For Grading" And to be finalized/Imaged/And Shipped today!!
    WOOT WOOT!!! I Was so excited to Finally See the Results of my 3 coin set( That for some reason NGC Fails to recognize anything from a collectors point of view and more of there own Money making strategies(I thought I was about the collector, Seeing where this hobby would be without the Ragging Numismaniacs Like us!), Since there are only a Limited Mintage, Recognize that Coin as Actually being that coin as Sold By the Mint, Not just another coin that you have to grade!)
    SOrry for the ranting that was not were I was heading!
    Well to show you why I am alittle upset about the 3 coin set!

    The S$1 Came back a PF68, I had even checked the 3 coin set with a 20x to the other 5 PF S$1 I had acquired, they seemed to all be PF70 Compared to the others...... I was really Happy about my Gold $5 PF and MS both came back 70s!!! BUT why the 3 coin set??? The only thing that really matters out of all the coins(Don't get me wrong I actually Love the Skinny Chicken Designs!!)
    I hope you all the Best of Luck in getting yours graded, I feel the 3 coin set wasn't one of the ones melted back down but just thrown back together and shipped out!

    Another Wonderful Line fighting, heart throbbing, sweaty palm experience that I would rather be standing outside in a line to buy them then dealing with the horrible website or calling to get told to call back later....But everyone who collects coins or modern silver will purchase one of these beautiful coins with one of our greatest presidents of all time(And he Didn't have to say "Yes We can", But I wouln't turn political on the fact of the matter)
     
    But How long Did it take you to order? Wana find out something funny? Read on. Something about the UHR and of course Abs Commem.This morning I awoke at 8:30am to a alarm only to remember the release of one of the greatest modern commems to date in a LONG time and actually worth investing in and getting bulk amount of to send off to ngc for grading! We started off our call at 8:50am(Since im pacific standard, 3 hours behind the east) and got right threw! I remeber someone posting about a month back saying "call Early, BS, order a few new things, Wait for the time and Order The new product, You don't have to spend time waiting in line(hey doesn't that just sound fantastic, Almost like being VIP and being taken right in). Since I do usually spend about a half hour trying to get threw the phones or the website(I decided I'd try this out)! We began talking about the 2009 Presidential Proof sets and how I wanted to start a new subscription(I purchased 50 of the 2007 First Year and Did the same in 2008), I also told the women from the mint from that and asked "Would you like to do the Same again this year?" I then Replied "You Convinced me" Since I was originally Gonna order only 10 maybe 20 . Then we moved onto the next subject being the new 2009 NATV AMCN $25 ROLL - P (SACAGAWEA) and 2009 NATV AMCN $25 ROLL - D (SACAGAWEA) I Ordered 10 of each roll P&D mints to put away for a very long time. (I'm gonna invest into NGC set to date and start building a new registry set for them after I complete my silver eagle NGC set) I Believe the new design is a good change for them and made them more of a modern collectors item more then a circulated coin you could get as change at the grocery store. By This time it's 9:01 on my clock (I know now exactly there 5 minutes ahead of the actual time, So I kept BSing *Sigh*) I Just came out with it and said So Can I add the Ab Lincoln to my cart also, I want to purchase * Cut off by mint person* THERE IS STILL 4 MINUTES LEFT UNTIL THEY GO ON SALE, I have cancelled your order and you will have to call back and order again and re-order everything........ Wait...What? "QUALITY CONTROL TERMINATING CALL, ABUSIVE PERSON" My son staring at me like wtf just happened....... we had a good laugh and by the time we wiped our eyes with the tears of laughter it was 9:06 so they had already went on sale, but it was ok cause that topped it off, we were just hoping when we called back we didn't get the same women ROFL. We ended up getting threw at about 9:14 and Ordered 100 Proofs and 100 Unc ( Since theres only 500,000 across all options and I believe they will sell out, if not I like them more then a lot of the other modern silver commems they have made. We got everything else stated above ordered again also and got a different gentleman this time to help us. So once again this was another mint experience that has impacted my life in a way that is just indescribable in words. We have a Expected ship date of 2-19-09, Which is nice thats only one week away, Crossing my fingers and rubbing the bald head of my jumbo Buddha hoping for more 70s then 69s but all of them will be shipped off to NGC next day aired the next day after I Receive them(SO I can look them over for any possible mint errors and prep all them for shipment to NGC in the mint capsules so the raw coin is never touched by anyone until at NGC!) for the ER Designation! Also My UHR is In Stock and reserved, The Girl at the mint stated she didn't know anything and isn't dealing with those( I knew that was a fat lie the moment I heard it....) so I laughed and just said watever, Since I believe they will ship when they ship and as long as I get mine I'll be fine! Ya the ER slab would be a beauty but they already made a masterpiece of a label for them( and like NAS Fallon Firefighter stated there is no difference between a ER coin and Brown label as long as there ordered at the same time, and When purchasing a ER coin off Markets you Just know this coin didnt sit for a long period of time before being graded( Years after being stored in safes, very common!)So Thank you for reading my journal, I thought I would Post alittle about the Ab Lincoln commems that were released and my experience with the amazing staff the mint has *Sarcasm* I will Be posting again sooner or later with the grades and status of my orders.     Lincoln Birth and Childhood NGC graded! Then Some Special NGC slabbed Windy City Monster Box Hoard American Silver Eagles Purchased!
    Good Morning to Everyone and I hope your having a great day, as I know I am as a collector in this hard time, still being able to add to my collection and doing so happily.
    First off I Would Like to address some of the UHR Journals I have been reading, does anyone read the mints website? Here is what they have wrote (Which I believe more then a person that picks up the phone and places orders all day, Since I have never really got correct information besides what was printed on the screen in front of them that I Could access and Verify just as easily as them...)

For information on how this may affect the return of the product if you are not satisfied, please see FAQ #210.
     
    Second I received today the First NGC 2009 First Day of Issue MS66 Lincoln Childhood and Birth coin slabbed, It looks very nice and I cannot wait for the other 3 to come out. I Took a plane on February 11th to watch the lincoln Ceremony and stood in line with about 400-500 other people(Could have been more like 500-1000 there were sooooooo many people just a guess...) to exchange Bills for $25 Boxes or rolls of the First new 2009 Lincoln cent. We got up to our turn in line and my son went first, he purchased 5 boxes and I Decided to purchase 6 to make it 11 boxes, my son had a bewildered look upon his face. We quickly made our way back to the car after what seemed like a long day already, we made back to the hotel room( Which was a very nice suite, not a 2 star hotel room with beds infested with god only knows what) and carried all the boxes up 3 floors and into our bedroom, my son basically fumbling all the boxes onto the first bed he came to( Since he was carrying 8 boxes of the 11, He insisted since my bad back and old age, I didn't argue Him being 19 years young ).
    We arranged all the boxes in a line on the bed, examining the boxes, inspection numbers and the beautiful luster shining back upon us threw the holes where each roll sat upright. I then said to my son "So Which box"? He was already holding one in particular in his hand and quickly replied "This one"! He opened the box and started tossing each roll on the next bed (Where i was sitting) and the search began, One roll after another, carefully tearing the rolls open and using gloves to handle every precise coin. He came across a coin that he thought looked better then all the rest and he stated " I bet you a million dollars this coin is a ms65", So we labled the coin and put it away in a flip, later to be sent into NGC and Come back an Astonishing MS66(The million dollars is still not been paid....)!
    Next on the agenda is the Windy City Monster Box Hoard Silver American Eagles Graded ms69, We ran across a great price for the set from 1986 to 2000 for as little as $20-$25 each coin! So we got a killer deal on those and they should be here as early as monday next week( Since we are ranked 84th currently we should move up about 30 spots if not higher), We were just happy to add some of the WCMBH SAE into our colletion. My MS SAE Collection is almost complete to date( only been working on for 2-3 months besides purchasing the past 3 years from the mint) and then I will start to finish the PF set( besides that monster of a 95-w, Pricing at $3500 for a pf69 and seen $15,000 for a PF70, Which i will eventually add atleast a 69 into the set!) along with my modern commems to date.
    Also I just paid for and sent out the 100 Abraham Lincoln PF and the 100 Abraham Lincoln MS Coins to be graded and encapsulated by NGC about 48 hours ago now, so NGC should be receiving them by Friday since they were sent USPS priority Box mail with a Huge Insurance Coverage( Just incase, you never know when your package is the one that has difficulties) but it will be worth it in the end. I will be selling probably about 80 of these sets and holding onto 20 depending on price and grades at the time I get them back( I sent them in modern, so it could be anywhere from 12-15 days....), But the last couple I sent in the last few months have been a matter of a day in each place and being sent back within 4-6 days( 3 Kuddos to NGC).
    We also sent in about 10 other Modern Silver Dollar Commems to be graded and encapsulated, can't wait to see all these grades, its gonna be better then Christmas morning!
    Well that's all for this weeks Journal, I hope you have all had as much fun reading it as I am collecting and living the experience and living to write about it. I will continue to write about my experience and findings and of course amazing coins to be added into the near future and I hope you all do the same Because I enjoy reading about your coin collecting(Since some of the top collectors known write and come here).
    As for next week my son starts a new job at a warehouse making glass windows for the installers to put into the homes the company builds and remanufactures, so in the roughest of times and the economy the worst it has been in decades, Im glade to see him fight his way threw all of it and work his way to the top not just making minimum wage, but double that( $17.50 a hour), 40 hours a week and its a guaranteed long term job. (So very proud as a father).
    happy Collecting and Best of luck in these hard times with job losses at the record high each day and obama sticking us trillions of dollars more in debt for our future generations to sort out and fix what damage we cause.     Just Received 54 minutes ago and looked over for about 15 minutes, god are they beautiful!
    Just received my UHR About 50 minutes ago, I Looked it over for about 15 minutes and drooled over how gorgeous they really are! I'm praying for top grade as I already have it packaged and am about ready to drop off at the post off next day air to NGC. So I should beat the cut-off date of march 9th, as they should receive my coin at Thursday/Friday at latest!
    Good Luck to anyone else who receives there coin and can beat the cut-off date! I will post pictures of the slabbed coin after I receive it back, Since I will be having it Next day aired back to me after being graded.
    Here is Also a MS70 2009 Kookaburra that I picked up last night for $89 and Im gonna start to purchase the other 17 MS70s from the money I make from the ab Lincoln Commemeratives and purchase atleast the rest of the ms69 set of SAE That I am missing.

    I'm Sorry to hear about that, I've had this happen before, but not with UPS. Many Times its ALWAYS fedex or some USPS.
    Mine arrived today like I wrote a journal about, But I didn't have this problem when He handed me mine I had to sign for it in return.... But I've found certain areas are different and many times the carrier will sign for the box and state simply that there was nobody present at the time of the delivery( Seeing that the mint doesn't Require that they cannot leave the package without signature) and they use the person signing for the box in case its someone that is not you( SUch as a neighbor if you live in a apartment complex) and you wana see whom signed for the package.
    Hope that Helps some, I'm glade that you were there to receive your coins, As I have had neighbors grab my packages to later give to me stating that Fedex or USPS just left it on my front door, But I;ve never had the problem with UPS. I have lost quite a few packages( probably along with others) threw the mail and I hope nobody does with these beautiful UHR coins that nobody even the mint predicted to be here for another 3-6 months!
    By the way amazing picture taken, I sent mine in today Modern special to receive the special Label ( Kudos to NGC on Special Label) and paid 3$ for imaging So I could just scan those to upload in my UHR spot So i dont have to get my camera out and take photos.

    Only 1 Graded Higher, and 1 of 35 graded in this state!
    I purchased this coin for a steal and just received it, it's so much more amazing then in the picture! It is a New York Expo 1989 Panda/horse, This coin is 1 of 4000 that were minted! There is only 35 graded in pf69 and only 1 Graded higher in pf70, This coin is simply a beauty of rarity that words really cannot describe!
    All in all there is only 45 coins of the 4000 graded to date, the only problem is with the 10Y China commems start in 1991 and this coin is a 1989 so I cannot find a spot to add this in, I tried every 10Y china spot but cannot add it anywhere! I would assume that this coin would be an amazing registry coin that would be worth some great points? I'm hoping that Someone at NGC can help me or edit the 10Y Commem Registry set that has all the other 1oz expo panda coins to have the 1989 NYC expo coin so I can add it my registry or tell me what registry set contains this coin so I can add it?
    Here is a Picture of the coin, its a beauty and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do since I cannot stop looking over this coin trying to find the flaw to why it was graded a PF69 and not a PF70 cause Really I cannot find a reason why!

    2 Gold MS70s, and a 5oz Panda for a killer deal, you gotta check this journal out!
    I have been saving up my pocket change for little under a year now, to my suprise I was able to turn that pocket change into some beatiful investments!
    First one was a $10 MS70 First Flight Gold
    Second one was a $5 MS70 George Washington Gold
    Third is a 5 OZ Panda which is only one of 30 something I believe and only have some 12 graded a perfect 70! The only Problem I Have at the moment is I cannot find the registry to add it to a set to get some points and show it off to anyone looking at my sets! I have added a Picture to the bottom of this journal for everyones viewing! I got it for a steal of only $299, which most on auction go for over $2000! ( the coin is amazing in person, the picture isnt worth even a word compaired to person its worth over 1000!)
    Fourth and Final was just to add to the collection of a PF69 and PF70 Lincoln 2009 Penny Set! I had purchased a bunch of PF sets this year because the lincoln pennies ( what a crazy increasement from $33 last year to $52 this year, just for 4 pennnies!?!?!? To me that was rediculous and uncalled for!)
    I also invested into from my local bank of 10 boxes of each LIncoln MS penny sealed boxes out to date, And Have a order for 10 of the last 2 coming out! These will not be opened just sit in my huge room vault for an Investment for my 19 year old son ( whom is more of a coin addict/collector than I am!)
    All my Coins and belongings will be left to him after I pass away, which is a major part of why I do collect so many coins and investments into gold/silver bars and graded/raw coins! I do have an older daughter and son, but I bearly talk to them anymore, my son has stuck by my side ever since my divorce 12 years ago ( He was only 7 then) , We have gone threw worst and poor but hes always been there, this is the main reason I will leave everything I have to him after my death! Don't get me wrong I love my Older daughter and son, and Have life insurance which they don't know, but will have a nice chunk given to them after! Family is always a main priority and I believe anyone reading this should make sure if they don't to tell those in your family that you do love them and they are a great part of your life. The worst of occasions happen without prior notice and you never know when you will never get to say I love you or even see them again! Keep your family close and show them how much you care, Don't hold silly grudes that could someday never get to let go because someone has passed or you just never get to make it up! Let things go and enjoy your life/family and friends every moment of everyday!

    Why is there no registry for the coins, since NGC grades them, I have the first 2 in PF70 ( 5 of each) out of 10k coins!! I just ordered 5 of the Finding nemo fish ones that were just released on 1/4/2010 within the first hour they went on sale!!
    So i was just looking to add my Australian Sea Life coins graded PF70 by NGC, and i cannot find a registry to add them into!! I mean ok........NGC grades them but doesn't have a spot to add them, I know I would be atleast 1st spot since I have 5 of each that all came back PF70 from the perth mint, and I also just ordered 5 of the Finding Nemo Fish coins that were just released 48 hours ago, I ordered those within the first hour they went on sale!! I'm hoping someone from NGC reads this and can contact someone or is in charge and can create the set of the Australian Sea Life collection!! They are only a 5 coin series that are a very very low mintage of 10k ea coin, the first one has sold out at the mint!!
    I just hope I can soon add these to the registry and hope all 5 of my nemo coins come back 70s so i have 5 complete PF70 sets to date until the final two come out this year, if not ill sell the 69s and just use that cash plus some extra to pay for 70s so i make sure I have all 5 70s!!
    Good luck, happy new year to all you coin/comic/and note collectors, I bought a 67 graded CGC "Black Eagle" 1899 Note for my father for Christmas this year and he just loved it!! Plus I also have my complete World of warcraft Comic set to date in to CGC Comics with all the issues 1-20 atm, I still have around 15 more that I have to get graded, but these should come back almost perfect, since they have been sleeved and in a hard filing cabinet since received from WoW!! Wish for the best possible grade on all those since there is not 1 crease/bend/ or tear anywhere and were perfectly kept!! Also the New World Of Warcraft magazines just got released the first one being this month ( january ) I just received it and am Thinking about waiting until I get my 5th one to send it in in intervals of 5!!
    but Again Happy new years all collectors, another great year for collecting, if last year wasn't so great with the economy I wish you the best this year and hope you collect more this year!! I also hope everyone else had the best holiday this year and wish you all the best for the holiday seasons to come this year!!
