When I established my 2012 numismatic goals and objectives I set a goal of having an "Owner's Description" and image for 100% of the coins in my "Competitive and Custom Registry Sets". I am pleased to announce that as of last night this goal has been accomplished.

All 125 coins in my "Competitive Registry Sets" have an "Owner's Description" and at least a low resolution image. In addition all of the coins in my "Custom Registry Sets" have an "Owner's Description" and image.

Now that I have at least a low resolution image for all of my coins I will work on upgrading the image quality. I already have high resolution (NGC, PCGS or auction house) images on most of the coins in my highest ranking sets and have a certificate from the "Collectors Society" for five free "Photo Proofs" of NGC coins from my prize winning "USA/Philippines Type Set" (2011 Best Presented Set Award). http://coins.www.collectors-society.com/registry/coins/SetListing.aspx?PeopleSetID=51257&Ranking=all

In addition to the "Photo Proofs" I plan to send several of my NGC certified coins back to NGC for high resolution "Photo Vision" imaging.

I also have a four PCGS certified coins (1903 Half Centavo PR66 RD, 1903 Half Centavo PR65 RB, 1903 One Centavo PR66 RD, and 1937 Five Centavos MS65) that quality for the PCGS Condition Census and free high resolution True-View images.

Hopefully by the end of the year I will be able to replace at least fifteen of the lower resolution images in my "Registry Sets" with high resolution professional photos.

The final coin to be imaged and uploaded to my "Registry Sets" was a 1907-S Peso PCGS MS62. The images were taken with an HP C8180 All-in-One set at 600 DPI. The attached photo is the scanned image of the reverse of this coin.
