Time to retire Kennedy

It is time to retire the Kennedy Half. It was rushed into production by a mourning nation and a fifty-year run is long enough. History would have a much different view of our womanizing, mob connected 35th President had it not been for his untimely demise. I actually admire the man and some of his accomplishments, but the behind the scenes facets of his life make him unworthy of a place on our coinage. 50 years is a fitting tribute to the fallen hero of a generation and the time has come to put a new face on the half. How about Martin Luther King, Jr.?
