Gino's delimna I Understand...
Ain't That Right.........
I remember when the 5 Oz Hockey Pucks came out @ $279.95 a piece. I bought 3 of those(Hotsprings) and the next set(3)Yosemites @ same cost 279.95
Silver was up around $45 then, and melt would have been about $586.00. Now I had to send them in for grading. Joining NGC was about $120 to be a member. Postage Both Ways, Photos of the Imaged Coins (3 a piece) Grading fee $17 each, and 25 a piece to be encapsulated. Mine All came back 69 grade. Someone said the price now is dropped on these to about 200. I don't sell on Ebay and yes, it would be hard to have to pay them another 15% on top of whatever it sells for.
I have many items I plann to sell in the next few weeks and am going to do an auction on here through my Bucket List. If I can't break even it just won sale......... I still have sackrolls of the Westword Journey Nickels sacked away. In $50 dollars sacks. That's a 1000 nickels to a bag, and there are many. I guess I'm trying to say that it is very hard to make a small profit, between what the Mint Sells at, what the Graders Charge, Shipping Both Ways, Ins to Ship both ways, and worst of all Ebay and other Companies, like Heritage,
I decided to send all 6 off to get them graded NGC and I ended up with 1 70. You can figure up my cost to have them ER,Insured. shipping both ways.
I have people offering me $160 a piece for the encapsulated 69's
Yep, I Know Just How You Feel Gino
