Collector is the Boss

Hi, I have not made an effort in the past to participate in the Journal entries, but my interest is heating up. I agree 100% with the other entries questioning NGCs decision to purge PCGS coins from World Registry sets and I believe US is not far behind if they don't get the message. I think the Competetive Registry Sets are fun, keeps things organized and makes you a part of the NGC and Numismatic community. I don't see a valid reason to purge PCGS coins other than to entice Crossovers and perhaps elevate or distance NGC from PCGS. I think they are both highly credible. I believe the Registry sets are a seperate arm of NGC that is for Collectors and really doesn't affect NGC as a business in terms of grading services ect. It was set up to accept both and is certainly paid for in subscription fees. On a seperate note, I think CAC is a joke and the Collector should decide what he or she likes in a certain grade. I do like NGC Edgeview holders and will give them credit for that. I think NGC and PCGS certification is a good thing and leave it at that. thanks, Aaron Sommer
