To conserve or not to conserve?

Being new to this organization, making the call on what to submit and what not to submit can be hard.

There are coins you just like that you think you might want to submit to NGC. But then you hear of the conservation service.

Anybody got any experience with this one? Apparently you submit a coin to NGC with a PS that if this cannot be graded, you would like it conserved and then graded if possible. Or you just have it conserved.

What to do? When is it worth it?
