I dont like to buy Junk Silver

Wow what a year makes! In 2010 I ordered my 5 oz America the Beautiful coins from one of the eleven Mint Distributors. I sent my coins to NGC for grading. Out of the coins sent, my lowest grade was a MS67 one was at MS68 and the rest of the 15 coins graded MS69. A few were MS69PL. I was very happy with this outcome.

This year I could order these coins from venders who order their coins from the eleven Mint distributors. What a world of difference. Can you say cherry Picked? I ordered a total of 15 coins from dealers that I have order other coins from before. I purchased 5 coins of each type of the 2011 5oz ATBs. I sent these coins in to NGC for grading. The outcome was less than stellar. Let?s take a look at the trash that the vender and coin dealers sent me. The best coin was a 67PL and the lowest was MS64. The rest was a mixture of MS64 to MS67. I spent $900 on grading fees and surely did not add any value to the coins by having them graded.

Taking a look at the 2010 ATBs coin that I received from the Mint Distributors to what I received by the coins venders, I was disappointed. Very disappointed! Not one MS69. What did I get for my money? Not much, I should have just bought silver bars. All I can say is, I think theses coin venders are cherry Picking coins they are selling to the public. AS of today I am suspending any more purchases of coins from the 5oz ATB program.

I like these coins but I am not going to waste my money on low grade junk that coin venders are sending out, I will buy ASE in an unopened green monster box.
