IT IS BETTER TO HAVE BID AND LOST THAN TO HAVE NEVER BID AT ALL

You win some, you lose some, what more can I say

Greetings Fellow Society Members:

I have update the Galleries for my Peace dollar set, ?I?M AT PEACE TOO? and my short set of Merc?s ?Short Takes?. I have been very selective with these sets and they are made up of some very nice coins. I had a opportunity to get a great looking 1927P PCGS MS64+ Peace Dollar I placed what I thought was a very generous bid and was just waiting for the end of the auction to collect my new PRIZE, when my bid was caught and then surpassed by quite a large margin. You can?t win them all.

I did however add a couple of new coins to my sets A good looking 1883 Seated Dime PCGS MS63 with a nice rose tone which is going to be the theme for this set now that I have two. Only rose toned coins. It now joins the 1887 NCG MS63, which also has the rose toning. The other new one is a White NGC MS64 1923 S Monroe Doctrine an old Commemorative 50 cent piece. I just love the intricate designs on those old Half dollars.
