Sharp Drop Today, Where is it going Tomorrow?

As I am new to this, I have caught the silver/gold bug very quickly! My very first silver coin was bought at my local coin shop with lots of misunderstandings and questions on what to buy and how much it cost? Through my self education and sheer desire to understand I have uncovered facts of history that used to be placed on worth of currency, not like todays Uncle Sams principle of "Believe me son....Its worth what I tell everybody its worth" mentality. I am by no means a dooms day person but have takin this path of collecting and investing as a means to provide for my family no matter what conditions in the road are ahead of me.

My question is for everyone that has choosen the same path as I have to deversify there exposer to stocks and choose the path of physical position of owning Gold or Silver, Where does it go from here? I have been hearing for the past 3 years that GOld was to high and it was bound to fall on its face sooner or later.....That was at $800 an ounce. Now look where we are today!

GOld is nice and pretty and looks good around your neck or with a nice few rocks inbeded into it but whats its real worth? Yea its rare but whats is the good of something that rare if its usesless?

Silver on the other hand has tones of industrial applications and is a true two way play...if the economy goes the the birds then silver is the safty net. If the economy turns around then silver will be in increased industrial demand....So its a Win-WIn play. Silver is more aboundant but consumable portions are large and are unrecoverable.

I would love to have other collectors and investors feedback on this thought and where there gut feelings are around my idealiology.......Thanks!
