A REAL "POE POUR REE"

Greetings Society Members: Another day another dime, how about that. I found a nice 1942 D MS67 FB in a PCGS holder to day. The price was right so I grabbed it. It is one of the easier dates to find in 67 FB. Since I have only the 1942 S to go and it will be a tuff one. I have shifted gears back to my Peace Dollar set. After up grading the 1921 to MS64 and adding a 1923 S in MS64 the bet pick up was a 1926 in MS65+ all three coins residing in PCGS holders. The set has moved up to 58th position 64% complete. I have been buying more and more PCGS coins as of late though no conscious effort they just seem to be the nicer coins. I used to be a diehard NGC guy but have mellowed out some and probably like a lot of you have coins on both registries. I?m not say one is better just that of the ones I have been seeing the PCGS coins have looked better.

I couldn?t help but notice silver has lost $8 and change since last week. Time to buy some more.

As I was getting caught up on my journal reading I see where someone just purchased a 2007 Presidential Proof set in PF70 for $82.00, if I remember correctly I bought one in when they first came out and paid more than twice that. Lucky for me I sold it last year for $140.00. Maybe I will buy another one next year when they are selling for $20.00. I think it would be great if as these coins fall in value NGC cut the points value accordingly. Lets see from 1000 points to 100 sounds about right. If you think I just got in a dig on modern coins you are 100% correct.

SEE YOU ON THE FLIPSIDE
