LET ME SAY THIS ABOUT THAT

Greetings fellow coin Aficionados: I have been doing a lot of looking lately but not much buying; having raised my standards the coins that I?m looking for are much harder to find. I have passed up a lot of coins with really good prices because frankly they were ugly, which I?m sure is the main reason that they were a bargain.

I was lucky enough to pick up a pretty 1943 S NGC MS67 FB, believe me this is a tuff one to get a hold of. The coin is toned but looks pretty nice anyway. I?m not a big fan of toned coins but in this case I made an exception for two reasons one being the difficulty in finding it and two for some reason it appealed to me. It just looked good. This coin came to me via an eBay auction and much to my surprise and joy, came in at 2/3 the fair market value. Now if I could find a 1942 S MS67 FB, which by the way is another very tuff coin my short set could rest a while.
