Parks, Parks, Parks

Today marked the start of another new set!!! The 2010 clad National Parks set was started!!! Really nifty!! I am looking forward to working on this beast. Added all 5 of the first bunch today!!! Silver proofs came out yesterday, I think, so will add them soon. Cool to work on a set that will go on for a while, and will also be more affordable than some of my other sets. Will be a blast to see all the Parks depicted on quarters!!!! Every one will be different, which I really like as well. The fun is just getting going!!!!!!!

6-11-10 Our first five silver quarters of this set arrived today! Fantastic! I sure do enjoy the silver coins! So bright and shiny. All five look very nice. I just bought the set all at once. Easy way to do it, and don't have the time right now to hunt around, so went for it!!! I did get them added and scanned into my journal. Bummer I am done on this set for the year. Next year I am going to get them one at a time, so I can mess with my set once in a while. I think it will be more enjoyable. Prolong the fun for sure!!! Well, see you next year!!!!!

2-2-11 Long time no talk!!!!! Our 2011 Clad set came in the mail today! Cool!!!! Added them in and even got scans done!!! Scans are horrible as usual, but that is the way it goes. Fun to add to this set. Glacier is our favorite, it is only a 45 minute drive from our house!!! Been there hundreds of times in my life. One of the greatest parks in our humble opinion!!!!! So

pretty!!!!! The Going to the Sun Road drive is just awesome. Try it, you will like it!!!! TTFN!!!!!!

2-16-11 The silver part of the 2011 releases arrived today. They are splendid!!! We did the early release labels again. I suppose we will do them each year now. Got a good deal on E-bay for this 5 coin set. Always good to save $$$$$! They are in our set and crappy scans have been added as well. See you next year!!!!!!!!!
