It's good to be back...

Thank you for your notes of condolances about my dad. God is definately still in the "miracle business". Because thats exactly what its been in his case.

Just wanted to leave you with a photo of what I think is a very well perserved $2.50 Liberty. Picked this little MS-61 jewel up on Teletrade this last week.

I feel sad in a purchase like this for anyone who has got to the point that they need to sell some or all of their coins just to keep the bills paid. I have been paying attention to the states where alot of these coins are being sold from on eBay and it is for the most part the states that are the "hardest hit" in this economic meltdown. I am watching every day for signs that Washington is going to start to do something right in that respect and each day they take what needs to be done and they do the exact opposite. Of course this bodes very well for those of us with gold & silver but it doesn't make me feel right when I think I am buying something from someone who if they had their druthers, they wouldn't be selling at all. Making money off someone elses misfortune does not set well with me.

I hope that those of you that have been having it rough, will see some sort of relief in the very near future. I can't imagine what it would be like to "have to" sell any of my beloved coins. It breaks my heart to think that is what some of you are having to do.
