Ebay.. trials and tribulations

Why is it that sellers will list a high value coin for low prices and then ignore the buyer when they win. I recently won (and paid for) a beautiful coin on ebay for way below book value. I had tried to contact the seller several times asking if everything was ok and never recieved a response. I know that I just sucked the egg on this deal. Im writing this journal in response to all those who swear by Ebay. Let me tell you, Ive been burnt on Ebay more times than I would like to discuss. All I can say is that Ebay is a forum where people can sucker, cheat, and rip off people. Ebay tries to police these people up but over the years it has gotten worse. There are tons of Ebay sellers who are selling copy (without listing as so) coins, counterfeit coins, and artificially toned coins today.... way more than just 4 years ago. When will the madness end?
