In full agreement with Jackson!

He pretty much hit the nail on the head with regards to Ebay. I have no way near as much action on Ebay as he does...for me under 300 transactions...but I do just about everything he describes. I have bought and sold all sorts of things like cars, household items, computer items, and coins with only a couple less then positive experiences. There are some problems with Ebay and Paypal but nothing that would stop me from using them.

I can't speak for the older coins...but for the modern comms and SAE's that I do collect... there are deals out there just waiting to be discovered. A 1995 Civil War 50c comm and 1992 S Olympics 50c comm in my case. Both were raw. With more pics and some communication from the sellers, I won both...the Civil War for $30 and the Olympics for just $8! Both coins came back from NGC PF70UC!

It basicly comes down to being a smart, informed buyer and seller. Not just on Ebay but also in the brick and mortar stores!

Enjoy them coins.

Jeffrey
