Another postal story

Friday once again!! My roll of 20 Silver American Eagles resides in quality control, but for how long who knows.

I also have a postal story, which I found hard to believe. As I ship a couple of hundred items through the U.S.P.O every month I consider my self very lucky to have as little trouble as I do. I?ve even shipped overseas with no trouble ?Knock on wood!!!!? The city that I live in has a post office that is exactly four miles from the post office in a neighboring city. I sent not one but two Priority Flat rate envelopes to this neighboring city I even drove to their post office to drop them off. When I was informed two weeks later that they had never been delivered. I checked in to it and found that even though the place that they were to be delivered to was in the same city, because they were Priority Mail they had been sent to a distribution center 30 miles away and then trucked back the next day. If you can believe that. No wonder they are going broke. Well any way the packages were never found, they did have delivery conformation but as they had all the scans entered for every stop as being delivered they would assume no responsibility or liability for them.
