Gold and Silver Oh My!!!!!!!

Dear Journal: Quite a few things have happened since last I wrote. My best purchase of the New Year to date came last night in the form of a 1902s Cornet head w/motto ? eagle PCGS MS62. I won it in an eBay auction. That I am an auction junkie I would have to admit, I have placed bids on three other ? eagles in the Sunday Teletrade Auction with the hopes of winning at least one of them. All the ones that I have and am bidding on are S mints, I have always thought of the S mint coins as being a little special, something left over from my 1stlove wheat pennies. I am also continuing my search for a 1944p MS66 FB Mercury Dime for my short set. The last one I need and is a tuff one to find it seems. Just for the fun of it I put together a raw circulated set of Peace dollars, started the day after Christmas and finished it last weekend I got all the coins in auctions from various

Places I got $640 in it, all the coins except the 21, 28p, 34s are fine or better and were had for under $20 ea. The 1921is a VG the 28p is AG and the 34s is VF but is scratched, these are the grades that I gave the coins not what the seller said. I will most likely sell all the coins at Christmas time.

I am in the process of accumulating stock and hope to start on the local coin show circuit next month it will be the first and third Sunday of each month until mid summer. I love coins and I get handle lots and lots of them, talk to other people about them even if I don?t get to keep them all.

I picked up a roll of 2010 ASE?s today, my friends at one of the local coin shops let me go though their stock and pick out the 20 coins that I wanted after about 300 I had what I hope are the best ones available. I then went home and packed them off for grading. Only time will tell how well I picked.
