You have got to see one of these huge coin shows. the Orlando FUN show is I think, the biggest. It is really an education. Most folks are there for the reasons of their owns which which should cause you to move with caution with most transactions. I find that some folks there with the knowledge of the ages, and some just know how to sell. I would think that it is a better place for a person to sell, than for buying, unless you are savvy and really know your prices. There are 'ways' for you to be taken. Know which books have credence for your objective and don't guess. Other periodicals are printed by who knows who, and for what reason. Just because you see something printed in the sellers book he shows you, know your values without looking in his book or paper before you buy on the sellers information. That was just a word of caution. I am sure there are no crooks there but JUST in case.
