Glad I had the fore sight to buy those raw SAE's

Greetings!!

I re-newed my NGC membership a couple of days ago, and this brings about a certain excitement/dilemma as when I do renew my paid membership, I scramble to find my next submission out of my coin drawer. Usually I am submitting this years mintage of SAE I just got from the Mint, but since there were no SAE's (W's or Proofs I mean) minted this year, This may have presented me with a problem. Sure, I have some older coins and some Prezzies I COULD send out for grading, but I am not really concentrating on those collections for submittals right now.

Instead, folded away in a large yellow envelope and encapsulated in solid non PVC holders were the 5 SAE's I won at auction as a group a few years ago. I think I got them all for $90. This was before the metal boom (read unfounded panic) of recent days.

The years are mostly in sequential order, too, 2000,2001,2002,2003,and 2007. I do already have a 2007 in MS 69, but I am hoping the one I am about to send gets a 70...longshot, but we'll see.

I am still contemplating purchasing the rest of this set outright after this submission, but I am not sure I want to miss the excitement of bidding and submitting, my mind is not made up yet.
