Copper
The New Silver?
With copper wavering between $3.13 & $3.20 per lb, it does not take a rocket scientist to see that since it only takes 145 copper pennies to make a pound, that there may be some profit to be made in the future. FYI, if you save pennies for copper speculation, save everything 1981 & older. You can save 1982 also, but there were copper coins AND zinc coins minted that year. There are actually 7 different varieties in 1982, with copper or zinc large and small dates. So unless you can sort the copper 82's from the zinc ones, just leave them for later. I predicted copper to be $3.00 lb by the end of the year. It surpassed that. I also predict that by the MIDDLE of next year, copper will be around $5.00 lb. By years end, it may be selling by the ounce. Are you brave enough to get in on the ground level of copper? I am, and have been for the last couple of years. I have around 1500 pounds of copper pennies, and look forward to obtaining as many as I can before the rest of the nation catches on to this un-born bonanza baby of the precious metal world.
