so many coins not enough money

They had to do it.

In responce to Silver Dollar.

Because of a few bad sellers that were scamming their customers, Ebay has had to make it the sellers responsability to ensure that the buyer is getting what they paid for. In the long run it will be better for us the seller because, if there is a trust that what the buyer is buying is described right and that they will recieve it, they will be more willing to pay a higher price. Right now when someone buys on Ebay they are factoring in that they might not get what they are buying. More or less they are taking a gamble.

I have put many coins on ebay to have them sell for less than grey sheet. Only after gaining a reputation for a quality and service have I been able to get repeat customers that will pay what the coins are worth.

Yes, we will have to pass the cost on to our customers. Mostly in the price of the coin because if you are charging for shipping you can get a low rating on shipping and you will lose a best seller rating, which helps with sales.

Just a thought,

Happy collecting
