I received my 2009 PF 70 Buffalo today

I didn?t chase the 2008 Buffalos I collected them, because I cherish their beauty. I don?t how many buffalos will be minted in 2009 and I don?t care. I purchase all of mine at the cheapest price and graded them myself.

After I had my coins the Mint sold out and announced the total mintage. Can you believe it was fewer than 20,000?

Well the public started to panic. The mint was sold out, now everyone wanted one. The 2008 buffalo is now selling for as much as $6785.00 for the four piece set all PF70 and graded by NGC. One year ago today they were selling for $2100.00. I?m so glad I bought Mine back in July 2008.

Normally the mint doesn?t produce a lot of coins when they release them so late in the year. But since they didn?t make the proof eagles in gold or silver it could be a high number. Don?t gamble! If you don?t get one, they will be very limited. If you do get one, they will be produced in high quantities. Just make sure you don't regret not purchasing one.

I collect the coins because I think they are gorgeous. I am a collector, I own them all. Many people didn?t get one last year and now their chasing them. It's hard to get a Buffalo once thry all get released.

Are you a collector or a chaser? Gold is so expensive; I hope I can continue my set. Maybe I will have to sell all my other coins to keep my Buffalo set complete. Do you think that the raw coin for next year will be under 2000.00 dollars?

I writing this to remind all the collectors to be collectors and not chasers. These coins are too much money if you don't get them at the beginning of their release. Get yours soon, while their still cheap. Ok I admit it, their not cheap.

But I?ll bet you their cheaper now than they will be next year!

If we purchase our coins for their beauty, we don't chase the market. We get them at retail cost. We never care that we own a valuable coin or what the mintages are. Were just are glad we have our prize possession's.

We buy them because we are avid collectors. We wanted the coin for its beauty. The avid collector bought it when it is unnoticed by most of the world.

The avid collector will cherish that they own the coin for their collection, and will never sell it. The avid collector doesn't chase the market. Therefore I glad I have my 2009 Buffalos all corralled and safe.
