A sort of comedy of errors!!

Greetings!!

Well, as I have previously been posting I am in the midst of re-doing my SAE entry's photos, and I am currently about 6 coins in and I am now re-charging the batteries for my camera, so I thought I'd give a status update.

The morning did not start out very well. I woke up at about 4am MTN time with a very sore left wrist. I have some tendinitis that gets aggravated when I drive for long periods with my left hand.

I woke up and took some motrin and slept in til about 930am. When I awoke I was feeling a bit groggy still, but I was excited to get started on my coin entry, I knew today was the big day to get this done. I grabbed my camcorder and camera and headed downstairs to get started. I set up the tripod and got the lighting just so, turned on the camera(s) and...DEAD BATTERIES!!

So, I promptly got them in the charger and proceeded to read the paper. I let about an hour or so lapse then I headed back downstairs again. Batteries looking good (not completely charged, but enough to get started) and I snapped a few test shots of my 2006W SAE. Needed minor lighting adjustments, I made the adjustments, looked pretty damn good!

I logged on to the Collectors Society to "Edit Gallery" tried to upload the photo in my 2006W slot...no go!! I had my camera set to 1200 instaed of the needed 640. As I tried to figure out how to re-set my camera settings...batteries died!! So, back to recharge I went, waited another 90 minutes, and got started again.

It has been going well since, except I am not being patient enough to let the batteries charge all the way, so I am 6 coins in (9 to go) and I am awaiting (again) battery recharging.

So, I'll definitely get the pics done today, but the description redux may be waiting til tomorrow...I'll see how the rest of the pics go.

I uploaded a sample of how it's going here. I think it looks pretty great, better than my 1st efforts.
