No special NGC "SET" for Lincoln's Bicentennial Set!

I was thinking there was a good chance that NGC would support a true "SET" designation for the Lincoln Bicentennial Set and allow owners to send in unopened (government packaging) sets for grading.

I emailed NGC and asked if they were planning such an honor for Lincoln. The reply was that they aren't planning to do this. We should send in our coins piecemeal.

I believe NGC is missing an opportunity here, and doesn't understand the significance of these sets.

I don't care what anybody says, I'm not opening my set. I already have 70s for all the coins in the set from previous releases.
