The Realization of Needing to "Re-Do" Pictures

Upon further review....

Greetings again everyone!!

Just finished up my political science and math work for tonight and thought I'd post here (again).

Upon further review...my pictures kinda suck!!

I took another look at my sets tonight and I have to comment that all of my hard work on the pictures that exist in my sets need a re-do.

I realized that I need to do a few things to make the pictures appear better, and here is my plan.

1. Use a black backdrop to "hide" the area in which I am taking the pictures. Right now, you can see the clutter and the desk, a velvet of solid black cloth could eliminate the background view.

2. The lighting is too brown, and a flash is not an option. The silver reflects the "flash" light drastically. I know I need to illuminate the area with a good white fluorescent light. I think doing this will brighten the pictures drastically and make a better shot.

3. Use a black business card holder, possibly covered with the black cloth. This would eliminate my need to hold the coin being shot with a coin not being shot and just propping the coin up and hoping gravity does not happen.

4. My descriptions could use a little work, too.

I have spent most of my time during my membership in the Collectors Society keeping a journal of my thoughts and efforts, so my set work has suffered a little as it does take a lot of time to get the sets looking right. I am planning on taking a day or 2 to get my sets right, and I am sure I will be proud of my efforts.

Wish me luck!!
