Addition to my colleciton
Well, this week I present the latest addition to my Morgan dollar collection. It is a 1878-P 7/8 Tail feathers. I can't believe the great price I got for it. I got it for less than $85. The coin is in a PCGS holder. The old green holder. I think I will submit the coin to NCS for conservation work and then have it graded by NGC. The coin is pretty dirty and I would like to see it without the dirt and a possible point upgrade does not hurt either. It seems like lately that graded coins have been getting a lot cheaper in price in the last few years. I guess when the market gets flooded with so many coins and a recession is in progress, coins will become more affordable. Me and my wife had a bet this evening about driving directions. She said that if she gets it right she could get these $200 pants from the mall. I said that if I'm right I could get a $200 coin. I won. I told her to never argue directions with a civil engineer. So hopefully in the near future I will be able to add a harder to get coin to add to my collection. Of course, we like everyone else are in hard times so, the near future may be the far future. We will see how things go.
Happy collecting
