Summer semester winding down....no moon landing commem?

Greetings!!

Hope everyone has been well and are having a great summer.

I have been busy with working full time and completing my college summer semester courses 3/4 time, so as you can expect, my days and nights have been running together for the past 3 months. I have found a new kind of "tired" lately, but some excellent sleep has resulted from all of this.

I am about 2-3 weeks away from completing my summer semester and it feels good to be coming in for a landing for awhile to maybe just rest and reflect for the 2 weeks before fall semester starts...just 3 more semesters until I get my General AS degree, and my poli-sci AS degree. I am glad I did all of that schooling 10 years ago, feels good to actually come back and complete it now.

On the coin side...this IS a coin journal after all!!

Last year I wrote in my journal how I was anticipating a moon landing commem, but it looks like that is not going to happen this year after all, and I am disappointed. I think the moon landing was one of the most dramatic and greatest accomplishments the US has ever achieved and I am surprised the Mint was not chomping at the bit to do a commem for this.

Maybe next year? I miss my SAE Proofs, and W's, as well........
