MY 1945 CAME BACK A ZERO!

I guess it looked like it turned black from something?

Hi all!

The results are in, and just as I figured. "Environmental Damage" was the verdict on my 1945 KM13A Penny.

I guess all the black stuff on the coin made it hard to grade, so it must have come from the environment. I guess if it were green it's the PVC?

That is an expensive coin to throw away.

I asked them to describe the"damage" and see if it was worthy of NCS conservation. No answer. Email says they shipped the lot already. I guess when you are in a hurry to dispose of the problem, you do what it takes. That's the second grand slam in a month.

Don't ask me about playoffs!

I'm hoping your coins are better than mine!
