"You'll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me"Well the results are in, for those of you who read my previous journal you will know i just sent in some raw sovereigns for grading that made a long journey from Adelaide Australia to Wisconsin then to NGC.I received my images yesterday(does everyone know if you pay for express grading and want images that it actually slows down the time it takes to receive your grade??...now i do )And SURPRISE SURPRISE i actually got what i paid for! ...almost....i sent in 3 Perth mint sovs all sold as uncirculated & 1 was sold as choice uncirculatedNow these are not rare sovs so i wasnt really worried either way and wanted to see whether buying raw sovs from a certain company would actually come back graded as MS when thats what they advertised Although i didnt receive any amazing high grades i was happy with what i got...i think more so that they actually graded and didnt come back to me in a body bagthe 1914p came back MS621918p MS621928p MS61So all in all i was happy with the grades, the 1918p was sold as choice uncirculated which i believe is ms63, although she didn't get there it was close and the others were just "uncirculated" which can be anything from ms60-ms62 so in the end i got what i paid for....what more can you ask? Maybe there still are some raw coins left out there that haven't been messed with....but do they have to come from another country where slabbing coins hasn't really taken off yet & UNC coins are still found in flips????Who knows maybe a few more purchases will unravel that mystery lolThanks for reading & thanks to all the kind words from fellow members regarding my website rarecharlottegold.com - a work in progress lolSMC
