New in SOME Things - Quite Experienced in Others

Well, this website says that I am supposed to share my experiences and thoughts by way of this "JOURNAL" entry; so-o-o, I have just had quite a harrowing experience ~ at the bequest of whoever programmed this mess.

I had encountered a problem ~ attempting to locate a way by which I could complete a "bio" on here; and, the simplest means I could locate to discover the needed information was to use the "Contact Us" form they have on this website and ASK them. Well, I guess it would hafta be classified as my FIRST "official" experience on this website when I discovered that ~ although, they have a webpage that states "Contact Us" on which they demand your name, mailing address, telephone number and shoe size in order for them to begin being interested in sending a response to you by way of your EMAIL ~ they, then, do all within their power to make it IMPOSSIBLE to correspond with them. They, further, demand that you be able to see GREEN ON GREEN lettering as well as BLUE ON BLUE lettering ~ ohhhh, the SAME SHADE OF EACH, by the way ~ before their program will accept your inquiry. A rather substantial portion of one of the THREE sets of symbols I needed to HASH my way through ~ was, even, WHITE ON WHITE!!! The differences in the shades which, actually, FORM the letters they want you to type, was SO MINIMAL in MANY places that it was ABSURD!!!

For them to make such things what could be classified as DIFFICULT is one thing; but, for them to make them, LITERALLY, IMPOSSIBLE is quite a different scenario, indeed.

By using a capital letter, for example; and, they use a capital "P" in a somewhat contrasting color to its background {such as black or gray on a white background} is one thing; but, then, when they, basically, IMAGINE the line going downward from the rounded portion of the "P" and down to the line-level ~ making it a capital "R", instead ~but, to make THAT line white on white ~ rendering it INVISIBLE ~ those "tests" have NO RIGHT to be operated according to their IMAGINATIONS. Because they **IMAGINE** the line going down that is rendered to be INVISIBLE due to there existing NO CONTRAST between the two things ~ the letter and its background ~ they have NO RIGHT to not accept what appears on the screen as the "correct" response or submission.

It is, actually, next to impossible to, even, explain it in this medium; but, I'm fairly, certain that if you have attempted to contact them through the same means ~ you are very much aware of what it is to which I am referring. They, simply, need to make their "tests", at least, FEASIBLE to be discerned by the human eye ~ otherwise, there is ANOTHER location in which it would be much more appropriate. {wink}

Well, anyway, those are MY thoughts on this initial part of my "journey" through these experiences.
