Feels like something is missing in the numismatic world this year

I hope everyone has been well!!

I have been busily working toward my degrees and have been learning a lot about myself in the process. One thing I for got about as far as college education goes is that a good course will change ones old process of thinking and will have you re-evaluating what you THINK you know. I recommend the pursuit of higher education whole-heartedly for everybody.

I have been surprised this year by my feelings of "something missing"...actually overwhelmed by these feelings so far as my coin collecting goes.

No matter what I try to do, I cannot fill the void of the lack of W SAE's and Proof SAE's this year. These are the coins I cherish and look forward to all year long, and it is such a sad thing that (most likely) we will not see these coins offered at all this year.

I am aware that I COULD try and get caught up on the SAE's that I don't have, or I COULD change directions a bit and work on another set. But it's just not the same. I sorely miss the SAE's this year, it really feels like a death in the family.

I hope the Mint will produce these coins again next year, or even makes a very limited number this year...it would fill this void I have.
