I agree with the other members that the pictures are misleading...and i think they are doing it on purpose!

I agree with the other member that the photos are misleading, i dont really use teletrade but i am a long time heritage bidder and have noticed especially in the last few months when i see a coin up for sale that has previously been auctioned the image colors are not as they were the first time it went to auction....its actually easy to see this on heritage as you can check back when coins of the same grade last auctioned and if the coin is rare enough or if your patient to go through all the auction records checking serial numbers i have found many times the same coin...maybe it was a few years ago or even a few months but whenever the image pops up the colors are not the same and the coin looks completely different....the weird thing is that coins that went to auction a few weeks previously now turn up with a different colored image???? kind of suspect isn't it! do these company's manipulate the image if i coin didn't sell the first time...maybe a different color would attract a new bidder? when your dealing in branch mint gold such as i this does actually make a difference.

Anyway i just wanted to add my 2 cents and if anybody wants an example of what im talking about just let me know and ill dig up some images to show the difference although im sure many have seen this image manipulation...are the preying on the visually challenged collector?

Photo is of a lovely Gruber quarter eagle i laid my hands on...great coin picture and coin didnt really match up...coin was much prettier in person! so i guess heritage photography can work both ways!
