I'm going crazy waiting for my submission

My order was sent in three weeks ago. I thought that I had become "patient" since my last submission, of last year. NOPE!! Not yet anyways. I was fine untill my order was sitting in quality control for over a week. Now the story to this is a little confusing, so let me explain.

When I submitted my order, It was a ten coin submission. Now, I just had to get this one certain coin cross graded, I just had to. You see, it is a Canadian 1968 silver PL-10 cent. There are only 15 silver Pl's recorded as graded, with a possible one also from PCGS, while there are at least 214 of the nickle. Not sure about PCGS because the description in their population reports doesn't say silver, it is just on it's own from the common ones, the nickle PL dimes. So, I know that NGC will have to investigate a rare piece such as this. Officially, no silver PL dimes were struck in 1968, only nickle dimes. So, when the coins arrive at NGC, they separate that dime from the rest, placing it onto it's own order. After a week, my 9 coin order gets placed into quality control, and that one dime still sits, no movement on it. I check casualy, then it seems daily right after work, then in the morning also, before I go to work. Then all of a sudden, I realize that I am checking on my coins at least 5 times a day, even into the night when I know that there wouldn't be any change in status. Now it comes to Friday afternoon at florida's time of 5:30, I think. I send a quick note to find out if they can post my results for the 9 coins. Reiterating that I understand that that dime is still being worked on. Then, no reponse, maybe I've missed everyone, and I'll have to wait another weekend without knowing. I check my email probably four times in half an hour, still no reponse. Just when I've given up, at about 5 min. after 6 p.m. florida time, I HAVE EMAIL!! It's from NGC. He posted the grades for me, even though the order still is in quality control. A bit disapointed with the 1953 PL quarter that came back as an MS 62, it'll have to be resubmitted, I know that it is a PL. The rest came back just O.K. A 1959 PL dime that I can use for my number one registry set. Also, a few others that are keepers too. Nothing incredable, except three came back 2nd highest graded over the three top grading services for Canadian coins, and a highest graded! now, that sounds great, except that NGC never graded a 1969 Canadian PL dime untill now, so a 2nd highest at PL-67 is up in the air, as to if that is special or not. Then there is the 1970 PL penny. It also was a 2nd highest graded from the three. with an overall total of 41 coins graded for these pennies, I guess time will tell how special that one is also. Anyway, my weekend of anxiety was foiled by the helping hand of one nice person at NGC. Thanks so much. I have to get back to putting the stats. together on my new coins. have good Easter weekend everyone!!
