So many coins, so little MONEY!!

Greetings!!

I have to say the recurring theme for me in regards to coin collecting is the fighting off of the desire to buy every single new coin that the Mint offers me.

The mintages of new types of coins this year seem to be more sparse as in the past 2 years..and for me, this is a good thing.

I remember when I started collecting coins in 2007, Mr. Moy kept presses on day and night it seemed. And as a new collector with not quite a path chosen other than I KNEW I wanted the Silver Eagles....my credit limits quickly became close to the breaking point. I bought all kinds of coins that I now (sorta) regret, but the options and desire I had to get the best and own all sorts of coins did drive me more than common sense did at that point.

I have a clear idea now of what I want to concentrate on, SAE Proofs and MS ( both bullion and W's) The Prezzie Proof sets, and Peace dollars when I have extra money to spend.

So far as my comic set goes, I want to finish my Batman :year One series in a CGC graded format as well.

I intend to finish the SAE MS set next year, when I will then concentrate on the Proof SAE set. I have my next 5 years laid out before me as coin collecting goes....it's exciting to be a coin collector, I love it!!
