I have started to focus on assembling an Ike Proof collection. While Ikes graded 70 are few and far between (not to mention expensive), a respectable full set of PF69s can be had at a reasonable cost. Another plus is that ungraded proofs can also be had for a reasonable cost, so I will likely try my luck on submitting some respectable candidates for grading, and who knows, maybe get a 70. If not, chances are good that the acquisition and grading costs can be recouped. And if I can't recoup the full costs, then it was money spent on a fun adventure, in search of that elusive PF70 Eisenhower.
