Exciting times to be a coin collector!!

AND trying times as well.....

I am still patiently awaiting the release of the SAE's from the Mint, namely the W's and the Proof variety. The mint did finally post a note stating the Mint had to fulfill the demand for the bullion investment coins first, and THEN they'd mint the stuff we little ol' collectors love to hoard.

And, I predict the mintage this year for the W's and Proofs will be tiny, and "we" will snap them up quickly. I am planning on purchasing more than 2 of each once available...which for me is a bit unprecedented, unless you count my 07 SAE W hoard where I picked up 3....already graded mostly, only 1 from the Mint.

I strongly believe, and I KNOW I keep writing this, that the mintage of 09's will be key key key to the set, and some of the rarest SAE's ever minted....which is a VERY exciting prospect.

It seems in 07, when I started collecting coins, the Mint was over producing everything. Soooooo many coins came out that year...Jamestown, Little Rock, W's of every variety...and this WAS a great thing, too as we had much to choose from. Almost TOO much...and holy frijoles!! It broke me!!

I am saving up for a great SAE run....hope not too of of you are too!!
