Where to try to focus my efforts? That, my friends, is a tough question...

If you've, by chance, found yourself suffering from pure boredom and paid a visit to my home page, you'll see that my collection best suits the analogy "Jack of All Trades. Master of None." At least if your trade is Modern Silver or Clad Proofs.

My collection is all over the place, seemingly without focus, and that is indeed a sad truth. I have recently, however, managed to complete a Proof Statehood Quarters collection, albeit nowhere near the finest out there; not even close. However, I am going to be working on improving it when the opportunity arises.

For now, though, I want to try to force myself to focus on one, and just one, of my other sets. So far, I have decided that will be either Eisenhower or SBA Proofs. I'm fond of the Reverse of both coins, as that moonscape takes me back to when I was diligently working on my Space Exploration Merit Badge back in the Boy Scouts by building a 5-ft Saturn V replica out of cardboard tubes with a gantry that I made from popsicle sticks and assorted other materials. However, I digress. Coins make me do that. Does that ever happen to you?

Anyway, I am now going to be concentrating my energies on one of these two types of Proof Dollars, and trying not to deviate too much from that. I say "too much", because I've got 2009 Prezzies and a Lincoln Comm that I HAVE to get graded. I've got no choice in the matter; they're already bought and paid for.

And when the 2009 Silver Proofs start coming out, I'll have to do that, too. I'm so weak... But no matter, I'll be focusing on either Eisenhowers or SBAs until I have quality sets of both. Now if I could just decide which will be first... sigh.
