Five for Five,A First & probaly will never see again!

Greetings Collectors,

I submitted five gold 2008-W coins to NGC and once again, a superb job by all there. They received the coins late afternoon on March 5th and they arrived here to me in todays mail. Once again I held back on looking at the results 'til they got here and boy was I pleasantly surprized.

I was able to finish out the 1/10th oz.in mint state, so now I can concentrate on getting the dates prior to 1998.

I was also able to add a much needed coin to the 1/10th proof GE's with the 2008-W in "70".

I started out the 1/4 oz. gold Eagles set with again the 2008-W, also a perfect "70".

And to round out the submission, the 1/2 oz. gold Eagle and Buffalo that came from my 8/8/08 "Double Prosperity" set.

What I can't believe is they all got that lofty grade that we all strive for. I am the worlds worst grader when it comes to "modern issues" as almost every one that I get from the mint look perfect to me but yet I like the rest of you, get more than my fair share of "69's

I still recall sending in all the proof Silver Eagles I had a year or so ago and only got a couple of 70's out of all those coins I purchased from the mint over a period of years. I have found that I have done better sending the coins in quickly rather than holding them for years. That is the only thing I can think of. It is either that or the mint is just putting out a much more "perfect" product. I conclude that it's a little of both.

These coins will be added to my sets tonight to go with a couple more "Walker Halves" added to my middle set of Walkers in the last couple weeks. 'Til next time I wish all of you the best and continue to "Have Fun" with your coins! Happy Collecting! WKF
