It's nice to have tangible accomplishments

Greetings!

I know that things will get better.

But, I have my days when I feel like I am making an unfair wage, and the bills come in, and the decisions I have to make at the grocery store are not the decisions I am used to making ( can I really have MEAT this week?).

Sometimes I feel like I work too hard to make even less, and I feel like I am getting nowhere fast.

THEN there are the times when I make my coin collecting goals, and cherish the coins I have already acquired, then the realization sets in that the collecting accomplishments most times mean more than the days at work doing the job for somebody else.

The collection is WHY I go to work to start with, to afford the coins I desire. The collection is tangible evidence of the fruits of my labor.

The collection is hard work in itself, but it is work done to appease my passion for the desired coins. It is soothing to stop and stare at the collection after a hard week, and then to dream about the next acquisition and to plan for the next coin.

I feel like this is the greatest time to be a coin collector.

With the Silver Eagle "W" series and the Proof series being "temporarily suspended" by the Mint, the Silver Eagles are going to be rare and key additions later this year. This is something to look to when you feel like the collection is mundane.

So, my long dreary days for the boss melt away when I hold those great coins in my hands, as I dream of a great future and a complete set of SAE's.
