My 2009 UHR Double Eagle, through all of this uncertainty, made it! Unbelievable!

The Double Eagle is in the hands of NGC now. That's a comforting thought. This whole UHR experience has been a roller coaster - constant ups and downs. I guess during the ups and downs it can seem like the world is against you. But in the end, these are the times that you remember and that bring you the most joy. I'll never forget my anticipation of the 2009 UHR.

The first time I saw the UHR coin in person was when I opened my box here at home. Wow, how incredible was that! The container of the coin is simply amazing. And then the coin, what a beauty!! It's easily my favorite coin in my collection.

I only looked at it for a short time before packaging and sending to NGC. It made it! I'll get the early release designation! That's a first for me, and what a coin to be my first early release.
