If you've ever wondered how Precious Metal Values are calculated, hopefully this Table will help explain the calculations, for GOLD, SILVER, and PLATINUM as contained in some normal everyday items. NOTE: Prices for Precious Metals (as Quoted on Commodity Stock Markets, etc.) are always based on "PER TROY OUNCE" (NOT "per avoirdupois ounce").
