In response to RareSov stating that PCGS slabs should not be allowed in the NGC registry - hows that a competition when you only compete against half the people.....that's NGC Registry's appeal!....dont ever loose it because someone is unhappy because a PCGS set is beating him lol

This is just in response to RareSovs last post indicating PCGS slabs should not be allowed on here..............if i were made to remove coins from my PCGS slabs just because some person thought its a bad idea i would be pissed! as people know some coins get higher values in a PCGS slab over an NGC slab....why that happens im not sure but it does...........when your talking about 35K coins then it can be quite drastic...........thats whats great about the NGC registry........its a true judge of the best sets as both NGC & PCGS coins are allowed.............unlike PCGS registry where they must all be PCGS..........hows that a competition when you only compete against people with the same slab..........are you telling me good coins cant be in the other companys slab...........and how could you be happy knowing there were a whole bunch of collectors out there collecting what you do but your set isnt comparable because you use a different companys slab? thats what you saying should happen isnt it?...............i prefer we keep it with both...............now i know i can compete against a 100% PCGS set and know there isnt another set out there better then mine ...if we changed it i couldnt compete against any pcgs sets....always making me wonder if there are better sets out there...lol.....i know i just rambled on but had to respond.....some of my coins are in PCGS slabs for a reason and i dont think removing them to NGC would be of any benefit to me or the coin.....yes the new slabs are great(even though the new scratch resistant coating isnt too resistant lol)but loosing $5000 value on a coin to put it into a NGC slab isnt very appealing to me....i love the registry but if made to switch my PCGS coins i would prob go all the way and remove all NGC coins from my collection just to protest lol.....anyway ill get back to work building my clients sets...if anyone has any upgrades to my Charlotte QE set contact me please!

regards

SMC
