A new twist...sort of

Greetings!

Well, I went on a bank to bank run yesterday to try and find the new Lincoln pennies and was (finally) informed that even though the banks around here tried to order them, the Treasury was not shipping any out due to the amount of pennies in circulation. This is the story from a teller, anyway. And I tend to believe what he said due to the fact that I went to about 5 banks and none had the pennies.

BUT I was (finally) reminded that the new Prezzie was out, and did I want to get some of those? WHY YES!!! was my response!!!

I like the new Prezzies. Looks like the only difference is "In God...." is on the obverse now to quell the fears that our money has somehow gone "godless". Personally, I liked it on the edge....or not at all on the coins, but that's just me.

So, I am proud to own the new twist on the Prezzies, I wonder how long it will be before some group worries the latin on the edge should be written in english?

Other than that, I have been preparing to go back to college lately, so my posts have been a little far and in between. It's a lot of work just getting the paperwork to actually GO to classes....that's a job in itself!! I'll be glad when I get the diploma though, I should have done this a few years ago...but life happened.
