I think people need to be a little less "defensive"

The reason for my latest post was not meant to be derogratory, mean spirited, or to get into a " contest" about whether or not the UHR's have been sent or not. I simply made some comments about a long conversation I had with what I thought to be a person in the know at the mint. In no way did I portray the person who held Two in his hand out to be a liar. I never even mentioned the persons name, although mine was mentioned twice in a way that whoever read it can draw their own conclusion as to what was meant by it.

I never assume anything when it comes to the US Mint as for the length of time I have been dealing with them I pretty much never expect anything. I have found you can usually count on whatever they tell you to be wrong. That is why, if you read the post, that I said if anyone knows anything to please let us all know. I also made a point of saying, in so many words, that you really can't trust the mint to say anything that can be "etched in stone".

Having said all that, if someone says they held two in their hand, then they, more than likely held two of them in their hand. I do think, not assume, that these along with a very few others that get the early release desig. with be very valuable with the limit of one per household. I am also very happy for this person and do hope he gets a "70"

I do think this hobby much too grand to get into a scrap over what has transpired with the two posts from me and the two posts from the other party. I said that I was happy for this person and I am but what would have made me even more happy was to hear that one ordered one from the mint and then got two and then sent the other back rather than sending them both off to be slabbed. I know that there are those of you who think I am "nuts" to say such a thing but there are others who would aggree. I will always try to take the high road and let things fall where they may.
