Acquiring the few NGC MS67 FDI President dollars at at a reasonable amount

Why would I pay significantly more for an NGC certified coin of which may be only 3 but overall between PCGS and NGC there may be a pop of 30 to 40 ???

Well Fellows,

I would pay more but not substantially more. My reasons are my set is consistent as far as same type/look holder, next I find the simple shape of the holder to be much nicer for feel and stackability, lastly I really feel that NGC does a much stricter agenda on the grading. I have seen picture archives of coins that have sold before at auction and when I zoom in on the photos it is really amazing how a PCGS 1885-O MS65 morgan for example looks same if not more marked up than a MS64 NGC 1885-O Morgan.

Unfortunately there are president dollars that came back in PCGS holders that NGC hasn't come across? Due to this my NGC only set will never be at the top but I feel that I personally have an investment quality set of definate quality and accurate grading.

Meanwhile, I will continue to keep striving to get that infamous 1 of 6 Jackson D MS67 FDI at around $500 instead of going the cheap route on a PCGS same coin/grade for around $75 (lol) and the same for acuiring one of the current 3 Van Buren D in MS67 FDI.
