An Olympic Oldie

I have just sent in an Olympic bronze medal and it is an oldie and a goodie as well. I found it in a box of foreign coin I had purchased and at first did not realize its importance. The medal is from the fourth Olympiad in Stockholm Sweden and is dated 1912. I have sent it in to NCS for verification etc. and hope to hear from them soon. It is a bronze and though there are copies and various other commemorative types of the Stockholm Olympics this does not appear to be one of those. All my research so far is hopeful that it is a genuine placement medal awarded perhaps to an American athlete. I will try to follow up with a picture of it for those who may be interested. Dawbid
