Well, it used to be a mint, anyway...

My Wife and I are leaving tomorrow morning for a trip to New Orleans. One of the top destinations for me will be the old US Mint. I don't know exactly what to expect when I get there, but just the thought of being in the building has me quite excited. I'm hoping that I might find a replica of a Confederate Cent or Half Dollar, assuming they have some kind of Gift Shop. It might be a replica, but I think it'd make a fine memento of the occasion.
