Geez, I wish I would have ordered my coin the first day!

The 2009 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Gold Coin (UH1) originally went on sale on Jan 22 for $1189.00. In the last few days the mint suspended sales while recalculating the sales price. The mint has stated they may/will do this on a weekly basis. The new price as of Jan 29 is $1239.

I wonder whether my original order on Jan 25 for $1189 will stick. The mint told me originally that my coin would ship Feb 06, my latest update is Feb 20. I think I will call tomorrow and talk with someone to better understand what is going on.

I'd also be interested in understanding when the NGC clock starts ticking. If possible, I'd like to submit my coin for Early Release (ER) status. Given the fact that the little man and dealers are on the same page (single coin orders) for this coin, an ER may actually be worth its salt.
