This is a landmark for me!!

Greetings!!

I am collecting the old fashioned way...earning it!!

It has been a slow process and an exciting one at that, every coin I add to my registry has been hard earned and equally looked forward to with anxiety.

I have side tracked myself along the way by getting involved with other sets that I just could not say NO to, and other coins I knew I would never build a set upon.

Money has been tight, and every cent I throw at a different coin than the Silver Eagles makes the Eagles a bit harder to come by.

BUT FINALLY!! I have made it to the 50% mark on set completion on my SAE's and this excites me very much, since my goal of completing the set by 2010 is becoming more of a reality.

The 50% mark also makes me eligible to compete more for "Best Set" ...which can probably NOT happen as the sets in the SAE class are really hard to beat, people have worked exceedingly hard in that category to acquire 70's galore!! BUT personally, it makes me happy to know I am at least eligible.

This has been a really great and happy month for me, a great start to a new year!!
