Thoughts from the Dog Walk
Surprisingly, mostly good things are on my mind..
Greetings!
This morning I decided to take advantage of some spring like weather we are having here in Salt Lake City and take my dog "Gracie" out for a 2 mile round trip stroll.
Usually as her and I take our stroll, I am busy trying to figure out the hows and whys of life, but today, I was finding myself more connected with the beauty of the mountains that have been snow covered for months, and the empty streets that Saturday mornings bring.
I began to realize that I have a lot to be thankful...more than I deserve or have earned. I am surprsingly more optimistic as this new year begins than I have been in years past, and I feel like I can really do anything I want to accomplish.
I think the fuel for this optimism and happiness is the way the year began with the Collectors Society award, and then with the trio of 70's I got from the grading table. I believe this was the catalyst for some great feelings.
I am also in the midst of a 4 day weekend as I have MLK day off, and am taking Tuesday off to celebrate the inauguration ceremonies.
So, I am feeling great, and I congratulate all of the winners of the Collectors Society awards and I hope winning has made you all as optimistic as I feel today, and as eternally grateful for the Collectors Society and NGC as I am.
Have a great weekend everyone!! Celebrate Life!!
